New research says 73% of people who added chiropractic care to treatment found significant or complete relief from their back pain!

Imagine, being told that for back pain, you needed to go first to one doctor, then another and then for therapy and then…   For many people, this has been the experience and often an ineffective and often expensive one at that.   When those ineffective methods failed to help, we were then sent to specialists who ordered tests such an MRI that were very expensive and may have led us to see a surgical specialist.

The problem is, according to the Annals of Internal Medicine in their 2017 paper, this is exactly what not to do for problems like back pain.  Back pain actually is a result of poor body motion which is a result of how we adapt to our body styles.

Perhaps, this is why this same new research also says

73% of people who added chiropractic care to treatment found significant or complete relief from their back pain!

But only 17% of people who sought medical alone experienced the same results.

Perhaps, the holistic approach used by chiropractors and the thought process that restores motion should be the first approach used by anyone experiencing back pain.  As the public is realizing a drug free approach is not only more appropriate but safer, shouldn’t primary physicians refer to chiropractors first?
